How to Get the Gold Desert Eagle in Modern Warfare 2

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" for the PS3 contains many weapons and customizations, but acquiring the Gold Desert Eagle skin requires modification. Although the game developers included the code for the Gold Desert Eagle, it was later cut off in favor of the AK-47. But with a little tweaking, you can gain access to this gun in the "Split Screen" mode of the game.

  Visit the zShare site and download the file PS3.rar. Save the file to your PC. Extract the file. Copy the files to a USB drive.

  Plug the USB drive into your PS3 and turn on the system. Once the system loads, scroll over to the "Game" section and open the "Saved Data Utility" folder. Select the USB drive from the menu and copy the data file to your PS3.

  Exit all menus and load "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2." Enter "Split Screen" mode from the main menu and load the "Offline Multiplayer Mode." Now load the file that says "DESERT" and enter the lobby. The Gold Desert Eagle is now available to use.
