No Traditional Cheats
In the past, it was common to include secret cheats and codes in most video games for players to discover on their own (or with the help of the internet) to change the difficulty of the game or add in jokes or "Easter Eggs" as they are known. "Quantum of Solace," like many other comparable games, does not have any available cheat codes. Rather, there are secrets and bonus content that can be found and unlocked throughout the game.
Unlimited Ammo
"Unlimited Ammo," which is a common cheat or unlockable in the shooter genre, is available in "Quantum of Solace," but not through the input of a cheat code. Once the game is completed on "Agent" difficulty (the normal difficulty setting for the game) Unlimited Ammo can be activated by the player any time via the pause menu. Under "Game Options," there will be a check box for Unlimited Ammo. Clicking on it will activate the cheat.
Trophies
The PlayStation 3 version of the game has Trophies available for the player to earn by satisfying certain objectives and conditions while playing the game. Most of the trophies can be obtained by completing the single-player story, though some of them are dependent on finding hidden cell phones throughout each level. Refer to the "GameFAQs: Quantum of Solace Trophies" link in the References section of this article for a complete list of Trophies. To receive the Platinum trophy for the game, every trophy's requirements must be completed.
Cell Phones
Cell phones are scattered throughout each mission in the story mode of Quantum of Solace. To collect the cell phones, locate them on the map, and hold down the Square button to pick them up. Refer to "Commander Bond: Quantum of Solace Cell Phone Locations" in the References section for a complete list of the cell phone locations.
