While considered a rude tactic, players can use "lag switches" while playing in order to gain an edge over their in-game opponents.      Begin playing a game; approach an enemy player.

     Tap the lag switch once. This should create five seconds of lag during which your opponent freezes.

     Kill your opponent within the five-second window. Your game's server registers this as an official kill, which increases your score.
