How to Hack Guitar Hero 3 for PS3

In "Guitar Hero 3" for the Sony PlayStation 3, players can grab plastic guitar controllers to rock out solo or with a friend to such hits as Heart's "Barracuda" and Santana's "Black Magic Woman." You can use some cheat codes to hack the game. Enter the "Cheats" menu by going to "Options" from the main menu. Play the note combination in sequence to activate a cheat.

  Unlock "Performance Mode" with "Red + Yellow," "Red + Blue," "Red + Orange," "Red + Blue," "Red + Yellow," "Green + Blue," Red + Yellow," "Red + Blue." This challenging mode requires you to memorize note patterns rather than play the notes that normally scroll down the screen.

  Prevent your character from failing a song. This works on any difficulty, but will not work in career mode or when playing online.
