Touchdowns

• An easy way to score a touchdown requires you to select a play with two receivers on one side of the field. Use the inside receiver on a hot route and push the right analog stick away from the quarterback to slant the receiver outside.

Training

• To make training for any position easier, simply change the depth chart so that the opposite player is not as good as the player you are training. For example, when training a defensive linebacker, change the offensive running back to someone with a lower offensive rating. The lineman challenge will then be easier.

Any Player Select

• To allow the option to select any player during Superstar mode, go to the "Rosters" section of the "My Madden" menu. Select "Player Management" followed by "NFL Greats" and release the player you wish to select. Next, go to the "Free Agents" menu selection and add that player to a team. In Superstar mode, play as a rookie, and the player you wish to select will be available.

First-round Draft Picks

• When playing in franchise mode, follow these steps to get the first three picks of the first-round draft: Before you begin the franchise, turn off the trade deadline. After all week 17 games have been played, trade your first-round pick to the team with the worst record. They will give you their first-, second- and third-round picks. Trade your second-round pick and the second-round pick you received in the first trade to the team with the second worst record. In return you will get that team's first-round pick. To get the final first-round pick, trade your third- and fourth-round picks plus the third-round pick received in the first trade.

Re-sign Players

• To re-sign players for lower pay in the off-season, go to the "Player Management" screen and change the player you are trying to re-sign to kicker or punter. This will allow you to re-sign him for less money. You must have enough players at the position you removed the player from for this to work.

Free Agents

• To change the type of free agents available in the off-season, save the game, and then go to the "Free Agents" screen. If the available agents are not the players you need, simply reload the game until the player you need is available.
