How to Boost Rating & Rank on SOCOM: Confrontation

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 first person shooter game "SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation" uses a complex calculation to determine a player's clan rank and rating. No one outside of the developers know the exact algorithms for rank and rating, but, generally, the two items use a combination of games played and games won for clan rank and kills, deaths, objectives and play modes to determine player confrontation rating. Other considerations, such as leaving games early and not playing for a while, also weigh into both items.

Instructions

- 1
  Join or create a clan. You must be invited to join a clan. Creating a clan requires registering the new group through the official "SOCOM" website. Once the clan is created you can invite other players to join. Rank 1 is earned by joining or creating a clan.

  Play and win clan games. Clan rank increases by the number of games both played and won. Winning requires fewer games but it still increases just by playing games. The highest clan rank is 10.

  Earn kills and achievement during different game modes while avoiding being killed in play. The personal confrontation rating is judged by individual performance in the game. Further, each game mode has its own rating. Perform well on each game time to increase rating. The higher kill-to-death ratio, the higher the personal rating. The highest confrontation rating is 100.

  Avoid leaving games early. Every game left early drops both rank and rating by an unenclosed amount.

  Play at least one game every day. Inactivity causes the clan rank and personal rating to go down.
