PS3's Hannah Montana Will Not Start

The PS3, or PlayStation 3, is a high-end video game console manufactured by Sony Electronics. "Hanna Montana: The Movie" is a Blu-ray video game that can be played on the PS3. You play the role of Miley Stewart or -- Hannah Montana -- in "Hannah Montana: The Movie." Most new video games for the PS3 require a system firmware update before they will work. If your games don't play upon insertion, it is most likely that your PS3 needs this new firmware update.

Instructions

  Turn your PS3 and connect the Internet. Refer to the PS3 system software user's guide for instructions on how to connect your PS3 to the Internet.

  Go to "Settings," then "System Update" and press the "X" button on the PS3 controller.

  Select "Update via Internet," then press the "X" button on your controller. You will receive a message stating whether or not you need a firmware update. If an update is found, you will be asked to update. Press "X" to begin downloading the update. Wait a few minutes for the update to complete. The PS3 will restart after completion.

  Insert the "Hanna Montana: The Movie" video game. Go to "Game" in the menu screen and select the "Hanna Montana: The Movie" game icon to play the game.
