How to Earn a Multiplayer Trophy in 'Earthworm Jim'

"Earthworm Jim," originally released for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo in 1994 and 1995, has been re-released for the PlayStation 3 in 2010 as a downloadable title through the PlayStation Network. This version remains true to the original game, offering all of the single-player levels while adding a new multiplayer feature. In addition to the new multiplayer feature, "Earthworm Jim" includes 12 trophies that can be earned by completing special tasks. There are two trophies that can be earned in multiplayer: Groovy Leader and World Partnership.

Instructions

    • 1

Select "Multiplayer" from the "Earthworm Jim" main menu. An Internet connection is required to play multiplayer.

    • 2

Select "Host Game" to host the game and select the level, or "Join Game" to join someone else's game. When enough players have joined the lobby, the game begins automatically.

    • 3

Earn the "World Partnership" trophy by playing on each multiplayer level one time. It does not matter whether you win or lose, as long as you have played the level. There are 15 levels in the multiplayer mode that are played one after the other. After the 15th level is played, the cycle starts over.

    • 4

Earn the "Groovy Leader" trophy by placing first in each of the game's 15 multiplayer maps. First place is awarded to the player with the most points. Points are earned by collecting power-ups, defeating enemies and finishing the level first. Points are lost by dying.
