How to Throw a Grenade in Darksiders

"Darksiders" is a 2010 PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 action adventure game with a dark, post-apocalyptic setting. Players control War, a horseman of the apocalypse, who is sent to earth to postpone the final conflict between heaven and hell. As in other action adventure games like "The Legend of Zelda" or "God of War," War has access to an arsenal of items and weapons that have specific uses.

Instructions

  Approach the "bomb growths" in Twilight Cathedral, by the wall with the red crystals. Bomb growths are pretty much like sticky grenades. Press "Circle" to pick up one. This is the first place you encounter these items, serving as a simple tutorial for using them.

  Press down the right analog stick until it clicks. It's also known as the "R3 button" when pressed down. This engages Aiming Mode, which shows the arc the thrown object will travel.
- 3
  Hit "R2" to throw the sticky bomb -- in this case, at the red crystals on the walls. This will clear the path and allow you to progress further into the dungeon.
