How to Saw the Barriers in Castlevania Lords of Shadow for PS3

"Castlevania: Lords of Shadow" takes place in a cursed world where players wander a bleak landscape in an effort to destroy the Lords of Shadow. Players get weapon upgrades as they progress through the game including an upgrade for the Spiked Chain. You can use the upgraded Spiked Chain to tame certain creatures or break through barriers by following a series of button prompts.

Instructions

    • 1

      Play through the "Underground Caves" level until you get the Spiked Chain upgrade. This is at the end of the level, although you can backtrack to destroy a barrier earlier in the level.

      Approach any barrier. They appear as large glowing totems. Press the "R2" button to use the weapon on the barrier.

    • 3

      Press the left joystick up and down in time with the prompts on the screen. The barrier will crumble after following the prompts a few times.
