Grand Theft Auto IV Cheats for the Super Punch

Some call it cheating, others call it enhancing the game play. Call it what you like and almost every computer or video game out there has ways for the player to input special codes to give his character a special attribute, or literally pack more punch. In the add-on to "Grand Theft Auto IV" called "The Ballad of Gay Tony," a special code can be input to give the playable character, Luis, a little more punch.

The Ballad of Gay Tony
- The Ballad of Gay Tony add-on is spun out from the "Grand Theft Auto IV" main story, a bank robbery scene, where he was a hostage. In the opening to this game, the player finds himself as one of the hostages on the ground with a pistol trained on him. Eventually, after the robbery fails, Luis talks to the police and goes on his way and the story of the game starts with a meeting with a nightclub owner, Gay Tony, who employs Luis as his bodyguard.
The code
- It is quite a simple task to give the character of Luis a super punch on the version of the game released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. According to GTA4.net, the cheat code for Luis' super punch, which will make Luis' punches explosive, is 276-555-2666. Every time Luis punches an enemy, the opponent will either catch fire or explode, making passage through the game easier for the player
Entering the Code
- Entering the cheat code is easy in both versions of the game. The player brings up Luis' cell phone and scrolls through until he finds the cheats menu in the phone options. After hitting the "X" button, the player dials the phone number and hits the X button. The cheat code is a 10-digit telephone number. At that point, the cheat will activate.
What Happens Next
- Once the cheat is activated, do what you like. You can either move back into the mission game play and continue with the story, or you can just walk around and cause general mayhem. For those who want to see what the cheat does before they apply it, there are several videos on the Internet showing Luis punching passersby on the street. Some just fall and others fly in the air. When they hit the ground, they catch fire and leave a burn mark on the street.
