How to Access Co-Op in Red Dead

Rockstar's game "Red Dead Redemption" puts you in the shoes of John Marston, a former outlaw who is forced to work for the government, but in the "Outlaws to the End" mission pack, you can also play online co-op with up to 8 friends. The mission pack is easy to download and access when you are playing multi-player, so you can explore the game with your friends on the PlayStation Network or on Xbox Live.

  Power on your console, connect to the internet, and insert the "Red Dead Redemption" disc. Begin the game, and press the button to open the web store.

  Highlight the "Outlaws to the End" downloadable content pack, and select it to download and install. Let the pack download and install before continuing the process. This may take a few minutes.

  Return to the main menu of the game and select "Multiplayer" from the main menu screen. Wait for your console to connect to the Rockstar servers and begin a multiplayer game.

  Press the "Select" button to bring up the multiplayer game menu. Select "Co-op missions" from the multiplayer menu, and follow the on-screen prompts to begin your co-op missions.
