How to Unlock Yoda on PS3

In the original "SoulCalibur IV" console release, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions came with unique characters. The PS3 let you play as Darth Vader while the Xbox 360 had Yoda as an additional character. PS3 users cannot unlock Yoda by completing the game or accomplishing special tasks. The only way to get Yoda on the PS3 is to purchase the Yoda add-on from the PlayStation Network. Once you purchase and download the add-on, Yoda will automatically appear in your "SoulCalibur IV" game.

Instructions

  Start your PS3 and scroll to the "PlayStation Network" icon. Scroll to "Sign in" and log into your PSN account.

  Scroll to "PlayStation Network" and click "X" on the controller to navigate to the online store.

  Scroll to "View All by Title" and click the "X" button to continue.

  Open the "S Browse" link and select the "SM-SY" option. This will list all the PS3 games that fall within those letters.

  Scroll down until you see "SoulCalibur IV" from the list. Click on it to continue.

  Click on the "Yoda Add-on" and choose to "Buy Now." As of June 2011, the Yoda add-on costs $4.99. Click on "Confirm Purchase" to download the add-on. Once the download is finished, you can access Yoda within the game.
