How to Make a Hard Lock Spell in Arcane for PS3

By visiting the Arcane University in the world of "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion," you can craft specific spells and vary their power to suit your needs. You must be a member of the Mage's Guild to access the spell-making altars in the Arcane University. This can be done by following the Mage's Guild quest line in the main storyline of the game.

Instructions

      Enter the main building of the Arcane University and activate one of the spell-making altars.

      Choose "Open" from the list of "Known Effects." This will only be available if you have a lesser "Open" spell such as "Open Easy Lock" already in your repertoire.

      Set the Range to "Target," and set Magnitude to "80." Ignore Area and Duration, as they do not affect "Open" spells.

    • 4

      Name the spell whatever you wish and select "Create" to finish making the spell.
