Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (MGS4) is the fourth in a series of Metal Gear Solid games that includes an online mode called Metal Gear Online which can be played with other players across the world. Players can engage in death match style gameplay as well as capture the flag style gameplay as well as increase in rank to be matched with equally skilled players. The base game is free and players can make a male character for no cost. Creating a female character takes some extra steps but is a simple task to perform.

     Obtain the Gene expansion set from the Metal Gear Online store (located in the Resources section below). This will unlock the ability to create female characters.

     Free up a character slot. Either delete your free character, or you can obtain a new character slot from the Metal Gear Online store.

     Create a new character and select the female gender. The new character will be female and plays the same as a male character except for a different voice and separate voice commands from male characters.
