How to Use the Paint Tool on PS3 CAWs

The paint tool in "WWE Smackdown! Vs. Raw 2010" and "2011" allows players to modify, create and customize graphics for the "Create-A-Wrestler" (CAW) mode in the game. With the paint, players can create logos, tattoos, shows, beards and any other accessories that can go on a WWE superstar. The mode works like a simplified version of photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop. Players can save more than 20 different paint designs for use in "WWE Smackdown! Vs. Raw 2010" and its 2011 sequel.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the "WWE Paint Mode" from the "Create" menu in the game.

    • 2

Select a size for the paint palette. The two available sizes are 128 pixels by 128 pixels and 256 pixels by 256 pixels. The 128 pixel size is ideal for patterns or tattoos. The larger 256 pixels is better for large logos or facial features.

    • 3

Use the right analog to select a brush speed. A slower brush will allow more precision because the analog sticks can be jump when painting.

    • 4

Press "R1" and "L1" to scroll through the different paint tools. Use the brush for freehand painting, the line tool for straight lines and the bucket to fill objects. The shape tool has circles, squares and rounded squares you can create.

    • 5

Hold down "Triangle" to open up the color selector. Use the left analog button to select a color from the on-screen palette.

    • 6

Hold down "X" and move the analog button to start painting on the screen. Press the "Square" button to zoom in on the drawing. See a "100%" preview of the drawing with the small thumbnail on the bottom half of the screen.
