Cheats for the Nazi Zombie Map Pack One in Call of Duty: World at War for the PS3

The first map pack for "Call of Duty: World at War" on the PS3 was released for download in 2009, and included the Nazi Zombie map "Verruckt." While there are no explicit cheats available for use on this map, Verruckt includes a number of ability-enhancing perks, power-ups and defense systems that players can use to improve their score.
  1. Shooting Perks

    • On the second floor of the Verruckt map there is a Speed Cola machine. Rack up 3,000 points and head here to purchase the green cola and enable the perk. Speed Cola will drastically reduce the amount of time it takes to reload any gun, much like the "Sleight of Hand" perk available in the online multi-player more. For 2,000 points players can access the Double Tap perk on the second floor. This perk, which increases your rate of fire, is most useful for guns like the shotgun, which has a slow fire rate. For a significant boost, try both at the same time.

    Health Perks

    • The red Juggernog machine on the first floor of Verruckt costs 2,500 points to enact. This perk instantly gives you increased health. This is particularly helpful in the later rounds, where zombies surround you from all sides. With the Juggernog perk, you will be able to handle far more attacks at once. If your teammate is taken down, head to the first floor Revive Soda machine. For 1,500 points you can bring your partner back to life.

    Power-ups

    • At irregular intervals throughout the rounds, shining power-up icons will drop onto the map. As soon as one appears, head toward it without hesitation -- it will vanish in 30 seconds if you fail to claim it. The Double-Points power-up is useful for racking your score up to spend on perks and weapons. The Insta-Kill power-up will allow you to kill a zombie with one shot, regardless of what gun you're using. One of the most powerful power-ups is the Napalm, which will instantly kill all the zombies in your area.

    Defense

    • When you're not picking up perks and power-ups to assist in an offensive rampage, it's important to repair any window and door planks you can. Not only do these defenses buy you valuable seconds during multiple waves of zombies, but the sound of the boards breaking will alert you to where they will attack next. Press the "use" button to repair, but face in towards the level, not out through the window. With your back turned, a zombie can easily sneak up behind you.
