How to Save Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 on PS3

"WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2008" features a "Main Event" mode in which you can take a wrestler all the way from his or her humble beginnings to the main event at Wrestlemania. You'll be fighting a constant array of challengers along the way, and it's a good idea to save your game before tough matches. You can save your game by going to a specific location in the menu and clicking on the proper icon.

Instructions

  Go to the main menu and select "Main Event Mode." You will be asked to either choose an existing wrestler or to create your own wrestler.

  Choose either "Raw" or "Smackdown." The show you choose determines your opponents, as they are exclusive to either show, and also affects which wrestlers can be unlocked later. If you're not happy with the show you pick you will have an opportunity to change it later in this mode. You will be sent to the main menu for this mode after you select either show.

  Click on the icon for the locker room in the upper-right corner of the screen. From here you can see your current ranking, profile and messages, and you can save your game. Click on the laptop located on a bench near the center of the room and select "Save Game."
