How Do I Do a Backflip in Skate 3 for PS3?

"Skate 3" is Electronic Art's third installment of the Skate video game series for PlayStation 3. One thing that sets "Skate 3" apart from its first two installments is the addition of more difficulty modes. "Skate 3" allows gamers to set difficulty to "Easy," which makes it easier for users to do tricks. This makes incredibly complicated tricks, such as the backflip, really simple to perform.

  Set your difficulty settings to "Easy." It's almost impossible to do a backflip in "Hardcore" mode if you haven't mastered the game. The steps to do a backflip in either mode are the same, but you have to press, hold and tap your buttons in a flawless fashion to perform a backflip in "Hardcore" mode.

  Get your skater on flat ground.

  Bring the right analog stick down and then push it all the way up to perform an ollie.

  Let go of right analog stick when your skater is at the peak of his ollie and then press and hold the "R1" and "L1" buttons. This will make your skater perform a double-grab, which means he will grab both sides of the skateboard with his hands.

  Tap the left analog stick down to perform a backflip. Make sure you are still holding down the "R1" and "L1" buttons. Your skater will do a backflip while he's grabbing his board on both sides.
