How to Unlock Chocobos in Final Fantasy 13

"Final Fantasy XIII" is a role-playing game for PS3 and Xbox in which the player takes control of a group of adventurers tasked to save two worlds from an ancient enemy. Like other "Final Fantasy" games, you have the opportunity to ride large birds known as "Chocobos" to previously unreachable and secret areas. However, you first must earn their trust.

Ci'eth Stone missions 1-13 (completed)

Instructions

- 1
  Travel to Gran Pulse and access the Ce'ith Stone in the Western Benchland of the Archylte Steppe. You are looking for the stone that gives the mission "Defender of the Flock." You must have completed missions 1 through 13.
- 2
  Go to the Font of Namva, also located in the Archylte Steppe, and walk towards the yellow symbol on your map. A cut-scene will take place, followed by a battle.
- 3
  Defeat the two Sahagins and two Ceratosaurs to finish the battle. After the battle is over, you will earn the trust of the Chocobos, and will be able to ride them in Gran Pulse.
