How to Capture the Eidolon Odin in Final Fantasy XIII

"Final Fantasy XIII" for PS3 and Xbox is a role-playing game in which players must travel through two worlds to fight an ancient evil that threatens them both. The player has the opportunity to capture powerful creatures, known as "Eidolons." One of these is Odin, and capturing him can be tricky, since your party only consists of two people when you fight him. However, you can defeat and capture him with enough persistence.

Synergist/Medic paradigm
Ravager/Medic paradigm
Ravager/Ravager paradigm
Potions

Instructions

- 1
  Begin the battle with your Synergist/Medic paradigm. This will allow your party to enhance its stats while healing itself.
- 2
  Switch to your Ravager/Ravager paradigm once your party is fully enhanced. Switch to your Ravager/Medic paradigm when you find your health getting too low, then switch back when you fully heal yourself. Additionally, you can use potions on your party if your health becomes extremely low.
- 3
  Press the "Square" button once Odin's gestalt meter (located above Odin) is full. Odin is now under your control.
