How to Do the Precision Claymore Challenge

The Precision Claymore challenge, better known as the Claymore III challenge, is one of the more time-consuming challenges in the multi-player mode on "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2." To complete this tier-3 challenge, you must kill two or more enemy players with a single claymore mine 50 times. You must have a solid understanding of your enemy teams' tactics and the layout of each map to use claymores that effectively. When you complete the Claymore III challenge, you are rewarded with the rhino-shaped emblem for your call sign.

Instructions

  Play "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" in multi-player mode. When you are given the option to customize your character's equipment, equip him with claymore mines.

  Join any multi-player game in progress or set up your own lobby. This challenge is best completed on smaller maps where people are forced to keep close quarters and players are more likely to travel in groups.

  Explore the map for narrow walkways, doorways and high-traffic areas. Look for tactically advantageous positions where other players might station themselves, as well.

  Equip your claymore mines and lay them down in these high-traffic areas. If possible, lay low near the claymores to see if people walk on them. If they do, run up and place another claymore.

  Continue playing multi-player matches and laying down claymores in this fashion until you have completed the challenge.
