How to Power Up the Bow in Demon's Souls

"Demon's Souls" is an action, role-playing video game. Using a bow helps players keep a safe distance from their enemies by exploiting the tactical advantage of range. You can make your bow stronger and faster by upgrading it with the game's two smiths, Ed and Boldwin.

Boss's souls (Regular souls will not satisfy this requirement, no matter how many.)

Instructions

Upgrading with Smith Boldwin

  Visit Smith Boldwin in the Nexus and engage him in dialogue.

  Check the Upgrade tab and see what materials Boldwin needs to upgrade your bow or crossbow. The materials vary depending on which bow/crossbow your character plays with, so check with Boldwin before you do any sort of mass farming sessions.

  Look up the stages and locations where you can find the materials Boldwin needs to make the upgrades with your preferred search engine online.

  Gather the necessary materials and revisit Boldwin to purchase the upgrade and hand over the materials.
Upgrading with Smith Ed

  Slay at least one boss in "Demon's Souls" to acquire a boss's soul.

  Visit Smith Ed in Stage 2-1 to see what upgrades he can give your bow/crossbow, depending on which boss's soul you have.

  Search online to determine what each boss's soul yields with Smith Ed.
- 8
  Slay the boss you need for your desired upgrade and take the soul back to Smith Ed to complete the upgrade.
