How Do You Revive Your Teammates in MAG for PS3?

"Massive Action Game," or "MAG," was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2010. It's a massively multiplayer first-person-shooter title, with an emphasis on teamwork and cooperation. One of the ways you can assist your team and earn XP points is by reviving wounded players, allowing them to return to the fight. Reviving a teammate provides the same XP bonus as killing an enemy, so it is a viable way to earn points and level up. Before you can heal your teammates, a number of conditions must be met.

  Insert the "MAG" disc into your PS3 and press "X" to log into your Shadow War account. Press "X" again to move past the news screen. Select your saved character from the menu list to move to your player menu. Scroll to "Barracks" and press "X."

  Press the "R1" button to switch to the "Skills" tab in the Barracks menu. This displays all your unlocked abilities and performance upgrades. Scroll down to the "Medical" skill tree and press "X" to open it. The "Resuscitation" skill is needed to revive teammates, but as is it the third upgrade in the tree; the first two Medical upgrades -- "Improved Healing 1" and "Self-Heal Speed 1" -- need to be unlocked first, requiring a total of three skill points.

  Press the "O" button to return to the player menu. Scroll to "Supply Depot" and press "X" to enter it. Locate and purchase the "Medical Kit"; it differs from the default "First Aid Kit," which can be used on yourself only. Press the "O" button again to return to the player menu and scroll to "Armoury." Replace the default First Aid kit with the Medical kit in each of your different loadouts.

  Start a match and locate a wounded player. Equip the Medical kit using the "Gadget select" button and aim the cross-hair at your teammate. Pull the trigger, and he will get to his feet with 50 percent health.
