Watch Mode
You can access the Watch Mode, in which you can view a series of computer-controlled matches using a code. Select "Exhibition Match," and when on the character selection screen hold the L1 and R1 buttons and press X. You should hear a jingle confirming that you entered the code correctly. You will see a series of random matches in a mode that harkens back to earlier "Virtua Fighter" games on the Sega Saturn.
Training Stages
Unlock the game's training stages by completing the Time Attack mode found in command training with a single character. Access these training stages by entering Versus mode and then selecting your characters. Before you begin, press Up two times to play a training stage without a fence and Down two times to play with a fence.
Hot Air Balloon
While playing Quest mode, you will occasionally see a hot-air balloon float across the map screen. Enter the arcade while the balloon is on the map, and during your next 10 fights you will battle for free items. Lose once, and the bonus round ends. Do not quit until you finish all 10 fights, or you will lose the chance for free items. Items include clothing for your characters and money you can use to buy more goods at the in-game store.
Secret Character
You can unlock the secret character Dural, but you cannot use her in Quest mode. Finish Arcade mode with every character on the initial roster on any difficulty. Upon completion, you should receive a confirmation that you have unlocked Dural. To access her, you must punch or kick below the bottom row of characters on the character selection screen to make Dural appear.
