How to Get Extra Characters in Mercenaries Reunion

"Resident Evil 5: The Mercenaries Reunion" was released in 2009 for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. Subsequent patches adding content and new characters were soon released as well. The game begins as the main protagonist, Jill Valentine, is released from a device being used to control her mind. Warrior, Josh Stone, shows up to help Jill in her efforts to escape and kill about 1 million bad guys in the process, as they make their way to the showdown with the evil Albert Wesker.

Getting Extra Characters

  Purchase points for the Microsoft Marketplace. Use these points for countless games, patches and additional merchandise. Buy the points in the form of a card at stores that sell Microsoft products if you would rather do your shopping offline.

  Purchase the Desperate Escape patch at the "Resident Evil 5" portion of the marketplace. Ensure that you have 400 points, because that is how much the patch costs.

  Install the patch onto your copy of the game by following the directions once your download is complete.

  Explore the new content that includes two characters from the first installment of "Resident Evil": Rebecca Chambers or the Delta team leader, Josh Stone. Both characters come with their own weapon packs.

  Select the Extra Figures option to access your new characters.
