How to Rail Slide in Infamous

Infamous is a PlayStation 3 third-person action title that immerses the player in a comic style world and the choice between using his or her powers for good or evil. The main character is endowed with 16 different powers that have various types of upgrades, depending on whether the character is good or evil. The "Induction Grind" ability, or rail slide, is part of the "Electric Drain" power. It is actually quite simple to rail slide in "Infamous" once the power is granted for completing "The Good Stuff" mission in the sewers of the first island area.

     Use the left thumb stick to move Cole around the environment and look for a power line running between rooftops or a set of train tracks.

   • 2

     Use the left thumb stick to make Cole run toward the power line or train tracks.

   • 3

     Push the "X" button to make Cole jump.

   • 4

     Use the left thumb stick to cause Cole to land on top of the power line or train track and he will initiate the rail slide automatically.
