Pass Through Barriers
Many bridges in the game have invisible barriers that stop you from crossing them, but you can use a fun trick to pass through these. Go to a bridge and jump onto a car on the right side of the road. Immediately enter "Photo Mode." The car will drive past the barrier as normal, and so will you. You can move around and take photos here, but don't exit "Photo Mode" or you will be transported back to the side of the barrier where you started. The screen will turn gray once you have ventured too far; restart the game once this happens.
Secret Unlockable Content
Beat Venom in the Grand Finale mission to unlock the Black Spider-Man Suit, which you can wear whenever you'd like. Play through the entire game to unlock "Arena Mode," which will be available in the "Extras" menu. In "Arena Mode," you are pitted against numerous enemies and must defeat them within varying time limits.
Secret Objects
Secret objects that you can collect, like meteorites and tokens, are scattered throughout the city. They can be very difficult to find, but if you listen carefully as you play, you'll hear a clue as to the whereabouts of these items. If you hear a chime sound, you are close to a token. When you're wearing the black costume, listen for a pulsating noise as you move around the city. This means you are close to a meteorite. The closer you get to the items, the louder the sounds will become.
Getting Angry
When you're playing as the black-suited Spider-Man, it's possible to build up rage in "Spider-Man 3" without being in a fight. Repeatedly tap the "R1" button and don't stop, even when Spider-Man's hands begin to shake and he screams. Continue to do this until your Rage Meter fills up. A full Rage Meter adds extra power to all of your attacks -- building it up before a fight will give you an advantage from the beginning of every battle.
