How to Kill a Hellhound

Hellhounds attack in the blink of an eye in the "Call of Duty: Black Ops" zombie missions, where players must navigate through levels destroying zombies and hellhounds as they emerge from the walls and doors. Hellhounds are mutated zombie pets with the ability to explode on contact. They move in streaks of lightning and travel in packs.They usually attack in small numbers, depending on the round. Killing Hellhounds can be difficult if the right weapon is not equipped.

     Throw the Bowie knife and the Ballistic knife at the Hellhound when it stops momentarily before lunging into an attack. Throwing both knives will kill the Hellhound.

     Equip the Trench Gun. This gun kills the Hellhounds on the first hit. Small packs of Hellhounds may be destroyed with quick aiming.

     Use the Ray Gun on small packs of Hellhounds. This gun is very effective when Hellhounds are at a distance.
