PS3: How to Install Resurgence

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" is a first-person shooter game that is available for both the Xbox and Sony PlayStation 3 home consoles. Additional downloadable content has been made available for both versions; one downloadable content pack is the "Resurgence Pack," which adds five new maps for multiplayer gaming. Purchasing and installing the "Resurgence Pack" on the PS3 is done through the PlayStation Store interface.

Instructions

      Turn on your PS3 console and log into your user account.

      Browse to the "Network" icon on the home screen and select "PlayStation Store" from the submenu. Press the "X" button to launch the "PlayStation Store" screen.

      Select "Add-Ons" from the left-hand pane and press the "X" button.

      Select "Disc-Based Game Add-Ons," press the "X" button, and then scroll down to the "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" icon. Press the "X" button to display a list of downloadable content for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."

      Select "Resurgence Pack" from the list and press "X" to open a purchase screen.

      Select "Buy Now" and press the "X" button.

      Press the "X" button to confirm the purchase. The "Resurgence Pack" will download. Wait until the download is complete before moving onto the next step.

      Press the "O" button to exit the PlayStation Store and revert to the PS3 home screen.

      Select the "Game" icon on the home screen and press the "Down" button to scroll to the "Resurgence Pack" icon.

      Press the "X" button to install the "Resurgence Pack."
