How to Get Rid of Nightkin

"Fallout: New Vegas" is a role-playing game in which you must survive in the harsh environment of a post-apocalyptic Las Vegas by performing a number of quests and dealing with the wasteland's inhabitants. One type of inhabitant, the Nightkin, can be hard to kill, as it has the ability to become invisible. However, you can overcome this hurdle with the right equipment.

Instructions

    • 1

      Shoot the Nightkin in the legs with one of your weaker weapons, or use grenades on the monster. You will not be able to target the Nightkin (using V.A.T.S. mode) at this time, as it will be invisible, but attack the beast until it becomes visible.

      Switch to a more powerful weapon once you can see the Nightkin.

      Go into V.A.T.S. mode and target the Nightkin's head with your powerful weapon. This weapon will do a massive amount of damage to the Nightkin.

      Repeat Steps 1 to 3 until the Nightkin is defeated.
