How to Kill the Minotaur in God of War for the PS3

Pandora's Guardian is a massive, undead, heavily armored Minotaur that Kratos must defeat as the final part of the Challenge of Hades in "God of War." He is much faster than his huge size might indicate. His attacks also do a large amount of damage and several are unblockable. Despite these advantages, the Minotaur is potentially one of the easiest bosses to defeat. His unblockable moves are easy to avoid, while his most common attacks are blockable.

Instructions

- 1
  Climb the stairs on the right to get onto the platform near the back of the room where you encounter Pandora's Guardian. He approaches the platform.

  Attack him with basic combo attacks, such as "Circle," "Circle," "Circle" or "Circle," "Square," "Circle."

  Block if he attempts to hit your with his right fist or claps his hands.
- 4
  Dodge if he attempts to grab you with his left hand, charges at you from across the room or pounds the floor with his fists. These attacks are unblockable, but easily avoided.

  Move the analog stick on the controller as indicated on the screen. This occurs after you have done enough damage to him. You are prompted the first time this occurs so you are aware of what you are supposed to do. The Minotaur is stunned if you do them correctly. If you mess up, you need to retry the entire sequence again after hitting him a few more times.

  Pull the lever on the left side of the platform while he is stunned.
- 7
  Repeat Steps 2 through 6 two more times to kill Pandora's Guardian.
