How to Get Bladestones in Demon's Souls

"Demon's Souls" was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2009. In the game, you can upgrade your weapons, like your dagger, broadsword or claws, by using stones such as Hardstone, Clearstone and Bladestone. Bladestone comes in three forms: shards, chunks and pure. These stones are not found in shops, they must be looted off the bodies of defeated enemies. Only a few enemies will drop Bladestones.

  Select the fourth Archstone in the Nexus to be taken to the fourth world.

  Defeat the skeletons. In "Demon's Souls," skeletons wield two blades, roll at you to attack and look almost metallic. Skeletons may also use a bow and arrow.

  Press "X" next to the body of a defeated skeleton to receive items. Items received are random, and any skeleton can have one to four pieces of either a Bladestone shard or a chunk.

  Leave the stage by using the Archstone at the beginning of the level. Enter the stage again to make the enemies reappear. Collect as many bladestones as you need.
