How to Get in a Taxi on GTA4 for PS3

"Grand Theft Auto IV" was released for the PlayStation 3 in 2008. There are many ways to navigate the streets of Liberty City, whether it is on foot, stealing a car or by hailing a taxi. By using a taxi, you can quickly travel from one side of the map to the other, saving yourself time. Taxis are all over the streets of Liberty City, and each one can be hailed and rode in as a passenger.

Instructions

      Press "L1" while near a taxi to hail it.

      Press and hold the "Triangle" button to enter the cab as a passenger.

      Select the destination using the directional pad. You can select any Liberty City landmark, shop or a waypoint that you've selected on the map.

      Press "X" to confirm the location.

    • 5

      Press "X" if you wish to skip the taxi ride and automatically be taken to the destination. The fare will be paid automatically upon exiting the taxi and varies depending on the location.
