Instructions
Adjust the drum set to a comfortable position. The drums set can be adjusted in height to fit your size. Place your seat close to the set so that your arms do not have to stretch too far to reach the pads, leaving a comfortable space for the kick pedal under your feet.
Hold the sticks firmly in your hands, but not too tense. If your hands get too tired, experiment with different methods of holding drumsticks until you find a grip that is comfortable for you.
Start up a game and choose a song to play in "Easy" mode. The earlier songs will be easier in difficulty than the later ones, so start near the beginning of the set list before you move on to more difficult songs.
Move up to "Medium" mode when the easy songs become too simple.
Alternate between different types of songs. If you play too many songs that use the red and yellow pads, you may get too used to playing these notes. Play songs such as "La Bamba" and "Go Your Own Way" that use the blue and green pads to mix things up.
Practice to get better. Enter "Practice" mode from the main menu and work on drum techniques in the drum tutorials. These techniques will allow you to complete the more difficult songs. You can also practice songs in Practice Mode so you can master them before you attempt to beat them in the main game mode.
