Unlockables
Complete the "Grand Finale" mission to unlock the Black Spider-Man suit. This will also unlock the game's "Arena Mode," where some of game's battles are redone in an arena. In the "Spider-Man 3" Collector's Edition, the new Green Goblin will be unlocked if he's defeated in this mode.
Defeating Venom
To defeat Venom in the "Grand Finale" mission, hold the L1 button and hit the boxes around him. This will distract Venom, allowing Spider-Man to attack him without reprisals. Repeat the process every time Venom recovers.
Easy Kills and Rage
Press the "Circle" button while an enemy is running away to stun him and make him easier to kill. Jump into the air and press the "Circle" button to perform an air-grapple move. Attack the opponent and air-grapple again until the opponent is dead. To make Spider-Man angry at any time, tap the R1 button repeatedly to build rage.
Easy Health and Tokens
Health icons, which look like heart symbols, are on the roof every ambulance in the city. Grab one for an instant health boost. Listen for a "chime" sound effect at random spots in town. This means Spider-Man" is close to a special token. These tokens will differ depending on the type of token the character is collecting. Ten identical tokens will unlock a PS3 trophy.
