How to Upgrade Ben 10

Throughout "Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction," Ben 10 acquires DNA that he can use to upgrade his alien forms. The more he upgrades an alien, the better it becomes at fighting, either by granting it new special abilities or by improving its raw stats. With 11 aliens to juggle, there's a lot of upgrading that can be done. In order to quickly get all the DNA you need, you can exploit the combo multiplier during the second level.

Instructions

- 1
  Gather DNA points by defeating enemies. The more powerful the enemy, the more DNA points you get. By performing combos, you increase this number even further. Combos are done by hitting enemies in rapid succession. Typically, special moves will automatically grant you combo points.

  Press the Start button to access the alien upgrade screen. Alternatively, complete a level and you'll automatically be prompted with the upgrade screen.

  Select an alien and apply DNA points to it. You can improve its strength, agility or toughness, or you can spend the DNA points on special abilities. In all cases, you can only improve an alien so much before it becomes "maxed out." At that point, no matter how many DNA points you have, there's no way to improve it further.
