Instructions

    • 1

Remove the batteries from the drum set, and put them in another device to test that they are working. If the batteries work, put them back in the drums.

    • 2

Connect the wireless receiver dongle to USB port 1 on the front of the PlayStation 3. Press the "PS" button on the drum set's front panel; then press and hold the "Connect" button on top of the wireless receiver. Press the "PS" button again to sync the drum set.

    • 3

Boot the "Guitar Hero" game disc, and use only the wireless drum set to navigate the menus. Check whether the drums allow no navigation, or only certain buttons and actions are unresponsive.

    • 4

Unscrew the tops of both cymbals, and remove the pads. Replace the cymbals on opposite sides, and screw the tops back on. Start a song, and hit both cymbals with the drum sticks to check that they are responsive.

    • 5

Unplug the cable attached to the back of the foot pedal, and plug it back in securely. Choose a song, and tap the foot pad until it registers.
