Click on "Edit" from the main menu.
Press the action button on any of the following options: Edit an Existing Player, Team, Stadium or Competition.
Click on either "Stadium" or "League/Cup." Selecting Stadium means that you will only be able to change the names of the respective stadiums in the game. Selecting League/Cup means that you will only be able to change the names of the respective competitions. For your selection, you can simply click on the item you wish to edit and enter the name change you want on the pop-up keyboard.
Press the action button on "Teams," then "Edit Team," to edit team details. Choose the team you wish to edit. You may change a team's standard formation, numbers of individual players, team name, strip or home ground. Clicking on any of these options will present you with a standard layout that is easy to follow and edit.
In addition to the standard editing in this section, there is a great feature that allows you to upload a picture from your hard drive to put on the front of your team's shirt. To implement this feature click on "Strip," then "Kit Marking." Click on "Chest Logo," then "Scan." You can then either create from scratch using an attached camera, or load an existing image.
Press the action button on "Player"; then click on the player you wish to edit, and you will be presented with a number of options. Here you can change every attribute of that player. Most changes are simple to implement, such as goal celebration and hair color.
One interesting feature is the capacity to scan a picture of yourself onto an existing player. So you can change David Beckham to have your face.
Click "OK" when you have edited as intended. If you are happy with what you have edited, click "Back-up" to where a message says, "[edit data] is not saved." Here, click "Save and return to Top Menu."
