How to Fix Guitar Hero on PS3

The "Guitar Hero" musical rhythm video game series by Activision started off as a guitar-only video game. Now, you can play the drums, guitar, bass or sing into a microphone. Along with these instruments, "Guitar Hero" can play songs downloaded from the Internet as well. Since there are so many pieces and ways to "Guitar Hero," the game can have many different problems.

Instructions

  Remove cordless phones, third party PS3 controllers and other wireless devices near the PS3 if the guitar will not synchronize to the PS3. Wireless devices run a similar frequency and cause the PS3 to not "see" the guitar.

  Inspect the USB cords plugged into the system if any part is not working. if there are any loose connections, the instruments will not work.

  Replace the drum set's batteries if the drums are not working. The drums require AA batteries to work.
- 4
  Re-download songs if the game crashes while trying to play them. Only part of the original file was downloaded, causing the game to crash because it cannot read the entire file.
