How to Add a Custom Song to Guitar Hero: World Tour for PS3

"Guitar Hero: World Tour" features such hits songs as Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" and No Doubt's "Spiderwebs," which you can perform virtually as a four-player band. This Sony PlayStation 3 game comes with more than 80 tracks in all, and you can also make your own custom tracks to play in the game or make available for download online. Grab your guitar, drums or microphone controllers and head to the music studio to make your own jam.

  Select the "Music Studio" option at the main menu.

  Pick the "Recording Studio" option, which allows you to create and edit your songs.

  Set the song tempo, and add a drum track and bass line if you desire. After sorting through these options select "Create New Song."

  Press "Right" on the control stick on your controller to begin recording. You can press "Right" again to stop the recording or press "Left" to rewind and record over a section of your song.

  Press "Start" to pause the recording and enter an option menu. From here you can save and name your song and quit the session.

  Play your song by entering "Quickplay" from the main menu. Scroll down the song list to the section that includes "Music Studio Songs" and select your song.
