How to Get to the End Point of an Object in LittleBigPlanet

"LittleBigPlanet" is an adventure game in which players can create and edit their own game worlds. In creation mode, players can use different materials, objects, vehicles and gadgets to build their own stages. Stages can be shared with other players on the PlayStation Network or for the player's own use. Some objects, such as pistons, elevators, strings and cogs, need to have an end point. The end point is where the object moves or takes the player to, and it is usually activated by a switch or proximity radar.

Instructions

    • 1

Load "LittleBigPlanet" and enter the MyMoon menu from the start screen. From here, you can select to load an already existing custom level or create a brand new one.

    • 2

Press "Square" to open the Popit menu. Select the "Tools Bag" and choose any device that has an end point, such as a piston, cog or string, and press "X."

    • 3

Place the tool down in the game level. Here you can define the end point of the object by changing the height or scale of the item to fit the needs of your stage. For example, the end point of a piston is the point at which the piston has fully extended.

    • 4

Open the "Tools Bag" again, select a switch or button, and press "X." Place the button or switch down in the game stage near the device from Step 3.

    • 5

Open the Popit menu and select the "Popit Cursor." Connect the switch or button to the device with the cursor. A connection string will be dragged from the switch to the device, letting you know they are connected.

    • 6

Highlight the device with the Popit Cursor and press "X" to open the device options. You can change the speed, rate and other characteristics of the device to suit the needs of your level.

    • 7

Enter play mode and press the switch, which will activate the device and get it to the end point.
