How to Beat Egg Traction in LittleBigPlanet

"Little Big Planet" for the Playstation Portable (PSP) handheld game console follows the same concept at the game for the Playstation 3. The player controls their Sackboy through the many strange worlds of "Little Big Planet," helping characters and collecting items for use in the creation of their own levels. The level "Eggstraction" involves helping a traditional Chinese dragon retrieve her eggs. The actual retrieval of the eggs involves a combination of skill and lateral thinking, and is one of the trickiest levels in the game.

Instructions

  Head to the right from the start point and jump in the Dragon's mouth for the prize bubble. Head left over the bridge and under the tilting blades. Jump onto the top of the first and third ones to get the prize bubbles. Have the conversation with the character at the end of the corridor, then take the elevator up to the higher level. It's explained that you'll need to find a code to retrieve the Dragon's egg.

  Jump on the switch in the middle of the room, then grab onto the round sponge above. It will raise you up to the ceiling and through to the floor above. Head right and talk to the character again, who gives you a clue about how you will "GRASP the purpose of the room." Head outside to the right and jump on the bouncy platforms. Go high enough to grab onto the blue flowers and drag them over to the sides, opening the alcove in the center of the ceiling. This reveals the red snake.

  Follow the gold arrow out of the room, which will lead you back to the room with the sponge elevator. The arrow from the snake room points to a window on a slot-machine style readout. Follow the arrow to the rightmost window and pull the level below until the red snake is displayed. Exit to the left. Enter the room with the panda mural and pull the levers to move yourself up to the top platform. Press the button and reveal the tiger in the middle of the room. Follow the arrow back to the elevator room and pull the lever to display the tiger in the leftmost window.

  Head straight up by grabbing onto the sponge elevator, exit to the left at the top of the elevator. Collect the jetpack and navigate your way through the maze. Avoid the metal rams, and grab the black and white weights whenever you see them. Drop the weights on the switches to open the sealed doors within the maze. Once you have dropped all the colored weights on the appropriate switches, you will be directed into a room with a heron mural. Return to the elevator room and set the center left window to display the heron.

  Head right at the top of the elevator room into the final challenge room. Use the lever to aim the cannon at the bulls-eyes, and hit the sponge button to fire it. After you hit each group of bulls-eyes, a new group will appear. Once the final target is destroyed, a dragon will appear. Return to the elevator room and set the center right window to display a dragon. The doors at the left of the room will open, allowing you to drag the egg across the bridge to the waiting Dragon.
