How to Download the NCAA Roster for PS3

"NCAA Football 12," released for the PlayStation 3 by Electronic Arts in 2011, is a college football game based on the 2010-2011 college teams and players. Due to NCAA limitations, real names can not be displayed for the players in the default copy of the game. However, it is possible to download updated rosters from other players that feature corrected player names. While the process is mostly the same as previous years, there are a few new steps you must take in this version of the game to complete the roster download.

Instructions

      Press "Start" on your PlayStation 3 controller at the "NCAA 12" title screen to access the main menu.

      Select the "Team Management" tab followed by "Roster Share."

      Select "Download Roster." A list of your friends' user names is displayed along with "Download Roster" at the top of the list.

      Select "Download Roster" from the list provided and then enter a PlayStation 3 user name (try "Pastapadre" if you don't know of anyone else) to download that player's roster or select one of your friend's user names to download his roster.

      Enter a name for the downloaded roster file and press "Start" on your controller to save the file to your PlayStation 3's hard drive.

      Select the "Settings" tab on the main menu followed by "File Management."

      Select "Load & Delete."

      Select the "Roster" tab. Highlight the downloaded roster and select "Load File" to use the downloaded roster.
