How to Access Mulit-Player on LEGO Harry Potter for the PS3

"Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4" is an action-adventure game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, that when it first released, did not include the ability to play games online with other players. You could still play from the same console, but the multiplayer mode was missing from the game's main menu. After the game's third patch, though, the ability to play over Xbox Live and PlayStation Network was added for free.

     Connect your console to the Internet. Start the game. It will automatically update.

     Restart your console. The main menu will now contain the "Multiplayer" option.

     Press either "A" or "X" on "Multiplayer" from the main menu on either Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, respectively. Once opened, you will be able to send an invite, review game invites, or create your own game.
