How to Hook the Ball in PS3 Moves: Brunswick Bowling

Brunswick Pro Bowling for the Sony PlayStation 3 features a variety of lanes, balls, shoes and other options that you can use to unlock trophies with success on the lanes. This 2010 title works with the console's Move motion controller accessory. The Move allows you more control of the onscreen action as the game's character mimics your throwing motion. Turning the controller as you throw will add spin to the ball to hit those tough splits.

  Press the "X" button on the controller to ready your bowler.

  Hold down the "X" button to begin your approach down the lane.

  Release the "X" button while tilting the controller slightly to the left, which will put hook, or left spin, on the ball. The more you tilt the Move controller the more hook you will put on the ball. If you are left-handed, you should tilt the controller to the right to hook the ball, and it will spin toward the right. Keep practicing to see how much tilt works best.
