How to Make EyePet Work on a PS3

"EyePet" is a pet-simulator video game for the PlayStation 3 (PS3). The game uses the PlayStation Eye camera, sold separately, and an included electronic card to track the movements of the player and allow him to interact virtually with an onscreen, artificial pet. The game requires the PlayStation Eye camera to play and must be properly set up before play.

Instructions

  Create a clear area in front of your television; preferably 6 feet to 10 feet in front of the screen.

  Plug in your PlayStation Eye camera and set it above or below your television, as per manufacturer's instructions.

  Place the Magic Card accessory, included with the EyePet game, on the floor at the furthest point away from the camera, but within its direct line of sight.

  Turn on your PlayStation 3 with the EyePet game disc inserted. If properly set up, you will be able to see both your EyePet character and yourself on the same screen.
