Hooking Up the Drums on Band Hero for PS3

A spin-off of "Guitar Hero," "Band Hero" aims to bring the genre to a younger audience with artists such as Selena Gomez, Jesse McCartney and Taylor Swift. "Band Hero" includes support for all three instruments found in "Guitar Hero" as well: guitar, microphone and drums. On all console versions, including the PlayStation 3 version, the drums are wireless and must be synced to the console to work. To hook up the drums to the PlayStation 3, you must have the wireless receiver included in the "Band Hero" package.

Instructions

  Plug in the "Band Hero" receiver into the first USB slot on the front of your PlayStation 3.

  Press the "PS" button on the front of the drums, in between the "Start" and "Select" buttons, to turn it on. The "PS" button has the PlayStation symbol on it as well.

  Press and hold the "Connect" button on the lower right corner on the front of the receiver. The button begins to flash.

  Press the "PS" button on the front of the drums. The receiver stops flashing and syncs up your "Band Hero" drums to the PlayStation 3.

  Launch "Band Hero." The drums are now fully operational and can be used in any game mode.
