How to Hook Up My Rocketfish Bluetooth Headset on PS3

With the advent of network connections on video game consoles such as the PS3, it has never been easier to communicate with people from all over the world during game play. The PS3 also allows you to connect Bluetooth devices wirelessly to the console. This means you can abandon that old wired headset in favor of a wireless Bluetooth unit, such as the Rocketfish Bluetooth headset.

Instructions

  Press the "Power" button on the top of your Rocketfish headset. A green indicator light will flash on the top of the unit. This signifies that the unit is turned on and is in "Pairing" mode.

  Power on your PS3 console by pressing the "Power" button on the front of the unit.

  Use the directional keys on the controller to scroll through the list of options in the main menu until you come to "Settings." Press the "X" button to select.

  Scroll to "Register Bluetooth Device" and press "X."

  Scroll to "Manage Bluetooth Devices" and press "X."

  Select "Yes" and press "X."

  Scroll through the list of available Bluetooth devices in the area until you come to the Rocketfish headset. Press "X" to select it.

  Enter "0000" for the pass code and press "X." The headset will then be paired with the console.
