How to Get Cars to Work in Little Big Planet

"Little Big Planet" allows players to create and edit their own game levels, which they can customize with various contraptions and objects. Creating a car in "Little Big Planet" will allow you to speed around your level or create an exciting thrill ride. Cars can be made with any material and decorated to match the theme of your level. You can share your car with other players in the game's online community.

Instructions

  Load "Little Big Planet," select "MyMoon" from the main menu and select a level to load or begin a new one.

  Press the "Square" button to open your Popit, and select your Goodies bag. Select a material with which to make the car's body. You can choose any material, such as wood or cardboard.

  Create the base of your vehicle; a rectangular shape is standard.

  Open your Popit, select the rubber material and choose the circle shape; you will use it to make the wheels of your car.

  Adjust the size of the wheel with the right analog stick; make it fit the size of your car's body. Press the "R1" button to make the tire thinner. Place four tires on your car.

  Open the Popit and select the Tools bag. Find the Bolt tool and place it in the middle of the wheels.

  Open the Tools bag again and select the rocket. Place it on the back of your car and press "Square" to adjust its power. Select the Grab Switch tool from the Tools bag and place it on the car at the location from which you want the player to activate and control the vehicle.

  Save the level and enter Play mode; you will now be able to drive around with your car.
